The house will be shipped from Altona on Monday. The crane is booked for Tuesday and we are hoping and praying for good weather on craning day. The house will be set on Tuesday and then the crew from Conquest will have a couple of weeks of finish work on site.
The trees got trimmed, the shed got moved, the piles are poured for the veranda and the lot is level and ready for activity. Oh my my........
These are some pictures of the almost ready to move house.
The veranda.
The veranda gate. This will lead to the area on the beach side that will be grass next year.
I think this is the small overhang that goes above the main door on the road side. This shows the nice shingles that Conquest chose for us. The ones we chose were not available and I like these shingles better than the original ones we picked.

Part of the great room. The fireplace is wood burning and the rock face goes up two stories.
The rest of the fireplace rock in the loft.
Part of the great room looking into the entrance on the left, the den/guest room, the stairwell and the double doors opening into the master suite section.
The kitchen. The cabinets are maple and custom made at the Conquest factory.
In the centre is the kitchen pantry.
The dining room was designed to fit the antique buffet and dining set that my Mother gave me. This set is being refinished and should look very nice in this spot.
The en suite bathroom with a nice linen closet. The counter tops will match the quartz counter tops we chose for the kitchen and laundry room.
The very important surround for the very important spa tub.
A sideways look at one of the doors. All the interior doors are pine and stained the same with matching antique looking door knobs. And another (sideways) view of the master en suite linen closet.

Two doors on the road side. The door to the left is the main entrance. This entrance has a great view of the lake through the house as you walk in. It is also designed with a little drop back area for an antique chair/captain's bench I inherited.
The nearest door goes straight into a mud room. The grandkids can come in filthy, drop their clothes into a sink or the washer, then step right into the bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. We can also enter through the mud room door when working in the yard and not have to go through the main areas to wash up or use the washroom. Very Saskatchewan....
The wooden rail is for a future small deck that will be used for both doors.
Needless to say we are getting excited.
